Local people invited to attend Local Health Matters meetings

Members of the public are invited to attend the next Local Health Matters meetings which are taking place across Colchester and Tending.  These public meetings, which are arranged by the North East Essex Clinical Commissioning Group’s Health Forum, usually comprise one or more presentations that relate to local health and care issues.  The dates, times and venues for the meetings in August are:

Tendring       -         Wednesday 11th July 2018 – 2pm to 4pm at Weeley Village Hall, Clacton Road, Weeley, Essex, CO16 9DN

Colchester    -         Wednesday 25th July 2018 – 2pm to 4pm at Stillwaters Centre, House Heath Business Park, Whitehall Road, Colchester, CO2 8GU (next to Bannatyne’s Health Club)

 On this month’s agenda are presentations relating to the following:-

  • Children’s & Young People’s Early Intervention Service
  • Sound Doctor
  • Out of Hours GP Service
  • Community Audiology Update (Tendring only)
  • Bowel & Cancer Research (Colchester only)

Local Health Matters provide opportunities for the public to ask questions and raise concerns regarding healthcare matters with the relevant presenters as well as meet with others to share experiences.

Agendas are distributed to all Health Forum Members, Patient Participation Groups, Parish Councils and local libraries in advance of each.  They are also publicised in local press and uploaded to the CCG’s website at
